It’s all about the preparation this week, we have a stunning event calendar coming up over the next few weeks and based on what happened last year we need to on our toes when it comes to getting ready. This weekend have the stunning Bolton Food Festival Friday 24th Aug – Monday 27th Aug combined on the same weekend Sat 25th Aug – 27th Aug its back at the Lowry Outlet Village for a stunning 3 days. If that isn’t enough its then off to our truly local event and Nantwich Food Festival on the 31st Aug – 2nd Sep the weekend after that then its Pub In The Park with our friend Tom Kerridge at the stunning Lambing Shed Knutsford and we have many many more in the pipe line for September as well so keep an eye on our site for more information.
As always remember that all our #Biltong is home made by us in our purpose built drying facility in the heart of Cheshire our production area is based at home and all our flavours are individually hand crafted by us.
We don’t use processes to speed up production (Anything like this will reduce the quality of what we do) it’s all dried the old fashioned way using nothing but warm air and a gentle breeze and a lot of patience . Our wealth of knowledge of meat selection comes from over 7 generations of our farming family, we use only fresh British or Irish Beef in all our products we accept no cheap imported substitutes. All our meet is locally sourced from a Red Tractor Assured outlet that demands the highest standards in what they do. Why do we do this well its simple British and Irish farmers have the world highest welfare standards when it comes to meat production we know how they are reared and how the meat is processed combine this with generations of Farming Knowledge you have the truly perfect combination for making Biltong.
