In 2006, Emma and Jeremy Borg embarked on a mission to establish a wine company with two primary objectives: to raise funds for the conservation of Africa's endangered wild dogs, and to give Jeremy the opportunity to pursue his passion as a winemaker. With unwavering determination and finesse, the couple founded Painted Wolf, sourcing grapes from select vineyards in South Africa's top regions such as Paarl, Swartland, and Stellenbosch. These vineyards, known for their low yields and organic or minimal use of pesticides, not only produce exceptional wines but also support the preservation of the African wild dog.
