The addition of cocoa-like tannins adds complexity and texture to a nearly savoury mid-palate, perfectly complementing the intense dark fruits, impressive alcohol content, and refreshing acidity. This wine is structurally robust, yet maintains a delicate and graceful demeanour. Notes of black fruits, spicy cumin, white pepper, liquorice, and hints of wild herbs linger on the velvety finish.
